We appreciate that going to university requires dedication and commitment, and of course, financial assistance.  We support a number of different sponsorship and bursary programmes.

Research Bursaries and Sandwich Placements in Synthetic Organic Chemistry

From September 2009 AstraZeneca is supporting an annual Research bursary scheme for up to 20 promising undergraduates each year from UK universities with an interest in synthetic organic chemistry research relevant to the pharmaceutical industry.  For further details please click here.

Year In Industry

AstraZeneca are pleased to support the Royal Academy of Engineering Best Programme and have been involved for some years with the Engineering Education Scheme, Headstart and Year in Industry.

There are some university sponsorship available to students who are recruited into Engineering, Manufacturing and Pharmacy placements at AstraZeneca through the Year in Industry Scheme.
