Zakariya graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in MChem (Hons) in Chemistry. Following a 12-month sandwich placement at AstraZeneca, he joined the company as a Process Chemist. He is currently working on an early phase chemical development project.

Since joining, the company has actively encouraged this by providing frequent seminars and conferences, both internal and external, and computer based training courses. All of which has enabled me to become a more effective and creative member of my team.
